What is a Incomplete TSV Value Finder?

This online tool finds incomplete values in Tab Separated Values (TSV) data. It scans the input as TSV data, using tab characters to split each row into fields. Then it compares every row against the widest row in the file and prints the exact row and column numbers where fields are missing. A missing TSV value is a field position that does not exist in a row at all. A blank TSV value is different: the field exists between two tabs but has no visible characters (it can be zero-length or consist only of whitespace). In the options, you can choose whether to also report these blank cells together with missing values. You can also skip empty lines, so blank spacing in pasted data is not treated as an incomplete TSV row. If your file uses comment lines, enter the comment marker in the options; otherwise, a comment row may be read as one long value in the first column, with the remaining columns reported as missing. For noisy files, you can limit the number of printed results, so the report stays short and shows only the first missing or blank positions. If the TSV data has no incomplete values, the tool shows a green success notification confirming that the data is complete. Find Gaps in a Meteorite TSV
In this example, we inspect a compact TSV list of meteorite samples. The header sets a three-column TSV shape, but two sample rows are shorter than expected. The second sample is missing the mass field, and the fourth sample has only an id, so the report points to the missing cells in those rows.

Report Blank Cells in a Map Marks TSV
In this example, we check a TSV file of paper maps. The input contains two comment rows and one blank separator row, so we skip them before looking for incomplete values. The tool reports two blank "scale" cells in the "Ridge" row (row 4, column 2) and the "Harbor" row (row 5, column 2), plus one missing "mark" field at the end of the "Dune" row (row 6, column 3).
